Team-Leader (TL): When did you meet Bruno in Bareo?
Akit: I met him at night. A Kelabit led him to the Rumah Sakai (a guest house specially for the Penan). He only came in for a short time and went out again soon.
TL: What did he want there?
Akit: He was looking for Penan from Pa Tik to accompany him, but nobody was here. Bruno then left the Rumah Sakai again.
TL: Did he spend the night in Bareo?
Akit: He spent one night in Bareo.
TL: Where?
Akit: In Bareo, but not in the Rumah Sakai, I don`t know where.
TL: Who accompanied Bruno to Lg. Semirang?
Akit: I don't know, I didn't see him leave.
TL: We have received information that some Kelabit brought Bruno to Lg. Semirang?
Akit: Yes, right, a Kelabit took him in the direction of Arur Dalan, until they met the Penan (Paleu). He then brought Bruno to Lg. Semirang.
TL: How many nights did Bruno sleep in Bareo?
Akit: One night.
TL: And you, Akit, saw him with your own eyes?
Akit: Yes.
TL: Was it still dark when Bruno set off?
Akit: Yes, about 5 in the morning.
TL: Did anyone else see him?
Akit: No, really, nobody else knew of his presence.
